3READY Powers Google’s Android TV Operator Tier Demo At IBC 2017

Ludwigsburg, Germany, September 13, 2017 3 Screen Solutions (3SS), (IBC 2017 Hall 15 MS30) leading provider of customized software solutions and services for multiscreen digital entertainment announces that its 3READY Android TVTM Client will feature as the demonstration Custom Launcher for GoogleTM’s Android TV Operator Tier Program at IBC 2017.

3 Screen Solutions makes its IBC debut in 2017; IBC visitors can for the first time see a demo of 3READY, and discover how 3READY can help service providers to fast-track service launches for IPTV, OTT, satellite STB, cable STB and/or Multiscreen Devices.

During IBC 2017. 3READY will be displayed on stands of several high-profile 3SS partners who have integrated 3READY to enhance their end-to-end video solutions. Google will demonstrate 3READY as an example of a custom launcher for Android TV operator tier.

At 3READY’s core is a flexible best-practice frontend pre-engineered to deliver today’s most compelling functional requirements. So an operator can introduce branded services faster with state-of-the-art application architecture ready to customise to the operator’s needs.

3READY is particularly geared to help optimize AndroidTM-based STB and Multiscreen deployments, which are growing in popularity among operators. 3READY is currently being rolled out internationally in several projects, including deployments based on Android TV Operator Tier.

The 3READY Custom Launcher is fully compliant with all the latest Android TV Operator Tier guidelines and features of Android N and is future-ready to embrace upcoming Android O. Netflix is integrated according to operator requirements.

Also at IBC 2017, 3SS also announces new 3READY features which deliver enhanced branding, marketing and revenue opportunities. Service providers can now develop theme-based service bouquets with 3READY. Content packages can be developed to cater to specific audience groups, with a look and feel and UX that can be customized with channel and content brands managed via 3READY Control Center.

3READY enables speedy deployments, so operators can build audiences for new services earlier. Additional customised features can subsequently be added to support business strategy.

3READY delivers operational and cost efficiencies through integrated A/B testing while advanced analytics tell the operator which content and subscriber offers are performing best. Therefore, with 3READY, the operator can make business decisions which are faster and better-informed.

MEDIA ALERT – IBC 2017 – 15-19 September 2017: 3SS is in RAI Hall 15, MS30.
